A global American hypermarket, discount department and grocery store chain, with 11,695 stores operating under a total of 63 brands.

Situation

The customer was looking for a solution that would protect both pedestrians and the facility against vehicle traffic at their North American distribution centre. They wanted to ensure the site was a safe place for both streams of traffic to navigate from one side of the facility to the other.

Solution

A-SAFE manufactured, supplied and installed iFlex Single Traffic+ Barrier to define and protect pedestrian walkways against heavy workplace vehicles, supported by a bespoke ground level barrier to safeguard the building’s fabric against repeated damage and the excessive maintenance it causes.
